Expat as Deputy General Manager in India (f/m/x)  India : Gurgaon

Have you always wanted to spend time abroad and get to know the Indian culture and country? We are looking for an expatriate to join us as Deputy General Manager for our Indian subsidiary. You will be the link to our headquarters and at the same time the right hand of our General Manager in Gurgaon. You are involved in all business processes and responsible for developing the subsidiary with a focus on administrative matters (Logistics, Purchasing, Finance, Controlling). 

Responsibilities:

  • Assuring the establishment, monitoring and continuous improvement of business processes and systems in coordination with the headquarters
  • Supervising the local implementation of special projects as well as communicating requirements, information and monitoring results
  • Monitoring the correct data entry and system use of local sales, service and administration staff
  • High involvement with the annual sales and cost planning 
  • Monitoring and managing financial operations and preparing regular status reports (i.e. cash flow calculation sheet, financial key figures) 
  • Communication interface to central functions of Anton Paar

 Requirements:

  • University degree (preferably Economics/Business Administration and/or Engineering) and a good understanding of financial and process management
  • At least 2 years practical work experience in a supporting role (e.g. Finance, Administration, Sales or Service Management)
  • For the candidates coming from India: At least 5 years of working experience in Europe or USA
  • For the candidates coming from Europe: at least 5 years of working experience in India
  • Long-term commitment to our Gurgaon, India-based position, with a minimum duration of three years.
  • Fluent in English, good German language skills are essential
  • Experience in working with SAP (FI, SD, MM) is of advantage
  • Strong analytical and result-oriented work approach
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Cross-cultural competence (experience with Indian culture will be a plus)

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications. For the vacant position it will usually be set within the following range (gross per month, excluding overtime and expatriate package): €3,500.00 to €5,000.00.
