Event Manager (f/m/x)  Austria : Graz

We’re looking for a passionate and motivated event manager who will be responsible for independently managing and organizing global/regional events such as trade fairs and conferences. Together with our marketing experts you will optimize and implement the global event strategy with the goal to increase revenue. Anton Paar subsidiaries around the world will collaborate with you and leverage your expertise to organize events that generate sales leads and promote our products and brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Conception, organization, promotion and implementation of global and regional events (trade fairs, conferences, seminars, and webinars)
  • Attendance at major events and management of event teams
  • Global conception and controlling of event standards via creation of precise global guidelines
  • Consultation of product lines and global subsidiaries concerning the planning and controlling of marketing events
  • Reporting and controlling of marketing event performance
  • Observation of event trends and their applicability for Anton Paar
  • Supplier management and communication 
  • Processing of leads in CRM and collaboration with sales force
  • Ownership of the webinar process including planning, reporting and future development
  • Support for Human Resources in the organization of HR events
     

Requirements:

  • MA in Marketing, Event Management or similar relevant field
  • Minimum 3-5 years professional experience in event management
  • Fluent in English, min. C1
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%
  • Experience in designing and building event booths
  • Basic knowledge in digital marketing and customer experience management
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Technical interest
  • High degree of self-organization

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications. For the vacant position it will usually be set within the following range (gross per month, excluding overtime): €3,200.00 to €4,200.00.
