Hardware Design Engineer (f/m/x)  Austria : Graz || Austria : Graz und Wolfsberg || Austria : Wolfsberg

We are looking for an experienced Hardware Design Engineer to join our product development team at Anton Paar. If you enjoy working with technical specialists from other disciplines on the development of new laboratory density and concentration meters, this will be the right job for you. You are responsible for the electrical and electronic design, from the concept work to the circuit design to the creation of test plans and cooperation in the transition to series production.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Development of electronics concepts and overview plans (e.g. block diagram) for laboratory instruments
  • Design of analog and digital electrical circuits, sensor controls and creation of the associated circuit diagrams (circuit design) under consideration of new technologies
  • Creation of printed circuit board test concepts in coordination with the electrical production
  • Approval of the circuit board design after creation by the in-house layout team
  • Verification and EMC-relevant measurements of electrical circuits and assemblies
  • Support of all necessary activities in the course of the series transition (acceptance tests, documentation, ...)
  • Support for problems in the series
  • Core member of the product development team, interfacing with mechanics, firmware, software and testing
     

Requirements:

  • Relevant technical education (HTL, FH, TU) in the field of electronics, electrical engineering or similar
  • Min. 3 years of relevant work experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the development and EMC-compliant design of electronic circuits
  • Experience in the field of electrical measurement technology
  • Basic physical knowledge beneficial
  • Structured and solution-oriented way of working
  • Hands on mentality with workshop / lab experience (e.g. soldering)
  • Very good German and English skills

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications. For the vacant position it will usually be set within the following range (gross per month, excluding overtime): €3,000.00 to €4,500.00.
