IT System and Application Manager (f/m/x)  Austria : Graz

Join our IT team and play a key role in maintaining and developing our global IT systems and applications. You will work with modern tools such as Jira, Confluence, and DocuSign, contributing to optimizing the IT infrastructure for over 4,000 users worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • System Management: You will be the main contact for maintenance, monitoring, and support of our IT applications, guaranteeing efficient 2nd and 3rd level support and ensuring the high availability of our systems
  • Software Maintenance: Responsible for the installation, configuration, and ongoing updating of system software and applications
  • Consultation and Project Management: Conduct internal consulting, handle technical inquiries, and actively participate in requirements gathering, as well as the planning and implementation of IT projects
  • Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain technical documentation, guidelines, and training materials
  • Performance and Security: Monitor and optimize system performance and implement security standards

Requirements:

  • Completed education in the IT field (HTL, FH, TU) or proven equivalent professional experience
  • Several years of comprehensive experience in server administration (Windows and/or Linux)
  • Practical experience with scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell), solid understanding of database management and SQ
  • Proficient in German and English, both written and spoken

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications. For the vacant position it will usually be set within the following range (gross per month, excluding overtime): €3,800.00 to €4,800.00.
