Product Manager for X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) (f/m/x)  Austria : Graz

As a Product Manager in the field of X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) (m/f/d), you will work closely with your colleagues to ensure the success of your products throughout their entire lifecycle. You will play a key role in the development and market launch of products in line with Anton Paar´s quality standards, and subsequently support sales as well as customers through marketing activities or by exploring new applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the economic success and strategic direction of a product family throughout its entire lifecycle
  • Significant expansion and maintenance of the existing product portfolio, including product development, market launch, and product discontinuation
  • Support for the sales team with technical and economic questions, customer presentations, and seminars
  • Coordination of international sales activities and product-specific teams in a matrix organization
  • Development and implementation of marketing concepts as well as the creation of marketing and presentation materials
  • Conducting training for sales and support teams
  • Market and competitive analysis as well as participation in and giving presentations at international scientific conferences

Requirements:

  • Completed technical education (TU/UNI/FH) in the fields of physics, chemistry, materials science, materials engineering, or similar, ideally with postgraduate qualifications
  • Extensive, proven background experience in X-Ray diffraction
  • Analytical and goal-oriented mindset, proactive and service-oriented approach, hands-on mentality
  • Assertiveness, resilience, negotiation skills, and team spirit
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications. For the vacant position it will usually be set within the following range (gross per month, excluding overtime): €4,000.00 to €6,000.00.
