Product Specialist in the field of Viscometry (f/m/x)  Austria : Graz

For our highly accurate measuring instruments, we are looking for professionals who not only have a deep technical understanding of the measuring device but are also capable of conveying the capabilities and advantages of these devices in training sessions and presentations. Together with product management, you will form the interface between the customer and sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and conducting sales and customer training
  • Application support (verification and validation of measuring devices or measurement data, field test supervision, functional device tests)
  • Application consulting and support for customers, sales subsidiaries, and sales partners or projects (including key accounts)
  • Conducting customer and order measurements
  • Close collaboration with product management, sales, and customer service
  • Creation and maintenance of sales and customer documentation
  • Work on norms and standardization
  • Creation of product specifications for software and firmware and their testing
  • Participation in product development and market introduction of new products
  • Further development of the application portfolio - development of new and strategic applications and documentation in coordination with product management
  • Occasional execution of installations, commissioning, device training, or troubleshooting domestically and abroad

Requirements:

  • Completed technical education (TU, FH) in chemistry, process engineering, or a comparable field
  • At least 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Very good command of German and English, both spoken and written
  • Experience in the field of viscometry or rheology is an advantage
  • Analytical and solution-oriented working style
  • Strong customer focus
  • Team spirit, determination, high self-motivation, and resilience
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Basic understanding of software and firmware development
  • Confident handling of toxic or harmful substances (limited to a few cases per year)
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications. For the vacant position it will usually be set within the following range (gross per month, excluding overtime): €2,800.00 to €3,600.00.
