Senior Embedded Software Developer C++ (f/m/x)  Austria : Graz

As a Senior Embedded Software Developer C++ (f/m/d), your expertise significantly contributes to supporting and enhancing our high-precision measuring instruments. You work at the exciting interface of hardware and software, playing a key role in our effort to improve the performance and accuracy of our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for modularization, signal processing, data analysis, and the interface to firmware and application software
  • Independent development of concepts and requirement analyses with technical evaluation and clarification in an interdisciplinary team
  • Responsible for the development, maintenance, and documentation of evaluation logic, communication, interfaces, data processing, and simplification of problem areas
  • Managing the interface between sensor technology and application logic on various platforms (e.g., Embedded PC, Microcontroller)
  • Ensuring the functionality and quality of the overall system through the creation, maintenance, and automation of tests

Requirements:

  • Completed education in IT, electrical engineering, or similar (HTL/FH/TU)
  • Several years of experience in software engineering
  • Excellent C++ skills and in-depth knowledge of communication interfaces and data processing
  • Willingness to take on technical responsibility and enjoy sharing knowledge
  • Initial experience with Test Driven Development in CI/CD environments
  • Ability to assess, document, and implement requirements from product managers
  • Strong team and adaptability skills
  • Innovative thinking and willingness to continuously develop and learn new technologies

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications. For the vacant position it will usually be set within the following range (gross per month, excluding overtime): €4,500.00 to €5,500.00.
