Responsibilities:

  • You are actively involved in the design and implementation of software components for modern laboratory instruments and create high quality, maintainable, clean code
  • You will develop desktop software solutions for modern laboratory instruments in an agile process using modern technologies such as C#, WPF, Angular, Git, REST etc.
  • You work with state-of-the-art collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence and Polarion
  • You are part of the entire life cycle of certain features and product areas, from design to release
  • You are embedded in an interdisciplinary development team and contribute to the development of high-quality and highly reliable products in sprints
     

As a Senior Software Developer you will focus on additionally on the following:

  • Responsibility for and conceptualization of software architectures 
  • Ensuring software quality using reviews and other methods and supporting your colleagues with test design
  • Mentor and coach for junior and intermediate software developers in the team
  • Ongoing evaluation of new technologies and ideas and implementation of these in projects

Requirements:

  • You have completed a technical education in the field of IT and have many years (>10) of experience with object-oriented programming languages and frameworks (ideally C#/.net)
  • You work independently on work packages and are also happy to share your knowledge in a team
  • Ensuring high software quality as well as readability, extensibility, maintainability and testability of code are a matter of course for you

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications. For the vacant position it will usually be set within the following range (gross per month, excluding overtime): €4,500.00 to €6,300.00.
