As the Software Team Lead Testing for Product Development (f/m/d), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of software quality and performance. You will lead an interdisciplinary team and coordinate an exciting development project portfolio, with a strong focus on software testing.
Responsibilities:
- Proactive leadership and development of a team of software testers and QA engineers
- Hands-on responsibility for ensuring and improving software quality
- Planning, coordination, and monitoring of testing activities and quality processes
- Implementation and optimization of a release train for clean software deployment
- Collaboration with development, project management, and product teams for continuous software quality improvement
- Analysis of test results and preparation of reports and recommendations
- Development and implementation of automation solutions to increase efficiency
- Support in error analysis and resolution
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Hands-on experience in leading teams and projects in the field of quality assurance
- In-depth knowledge of testing methods, test management tools, and automation techniques
- Experience in implementing and optimizing release trains and deployment processes
- Good knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Python, or similar
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications. For the vacant position it will usually be set within the following range (gross per month, excluding overtime): €4,500.00 to €5,500.00.
