System architect for measurement systems (f/m/x)  Austria : Graz || Austria : Graz und Wolfsberg || Austria : Wolfsberg

The laboratory measuring instruments of tomorrow are created in our product development departments. The complex interaction of all components to form a holistic measurement system is an essential key to success. As system architects, they collect the technical requirements and derive the system architecture of the measurement solution from them. In doing so, they coordinate closely with the specialist architects (mechanics, electronics, firmware, software).
 

Responsibilities:

  • Deriving the technical requirements from the use cases/user requirements
  • Development of the system architecture of measurement systems in coordination with the functional architects
  • Coordination of the system architecture and the technology stack with the division and company architects
  • Clean documentation of the architecture
  • Accompanying the development in the detailing and implementation of the architecture
  • Participate in the further development of general company-wide architecture concepts/principles


Requirements:

  • Completed technical/scientific education (FH, TU)
  • Several years of experience in the field of architecture of technical solutions
  • Experience with system modeling and corresponding tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect)
  • Broad understanding of technology (software, firmware, electronics, mechanics, physics)
  • Very good knowledge in the area of requirements management
  • Proactive and independent approach
  • Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for teamwork
  • Interest in measurement technology
  • Travel activity: 10%

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications. For the vacant position it will usually be set within the following range (gross per month, excluding overtime): €4,000.00 to €5,000.00.
